When creators like Bhuvan Bam, Amit Bhadana, Mumbiker Nikhil, MostlySane, Carryminati, etc earned millions of fans due to the onset of cheap and fast internet in India, at this point in 2020, YouTube is absolutely oversaturated with creators left and right.

YouTube algorithm is such that it will rarely recommend you content that you’ve never tried before, making entire ecosystems of creators unknown to you!Let’s break the algorithm and talk about some creators you should check out right now!

1. Papa Ocus

Shirish aka Papa Ocus started off as a freelancing video editor/illustrator, editing videos and making thumbnails most famously for Carryminati, and over the past few years has garnered his own audience in videos where he combines animation, vector art, and music to deliver great social commentary. His fun persona, ability to communicate effectively and overall wokeness has earned him a very loyal fanbase.

2. SaimanSays

Saimandar aka SaimanSays had been making vlogs, movies and YouTube videos since being in school before he recently got noticed by YouTube star Pewdiepie, and that garnered him a lot of attention. He has since used that attention to only give his increased viewership much higher quality videos in terms of production as well as the content. He hosts ‘Chai With Sai’ often, has an active subreddit, and even created a mini-series around an antagonist recently.

3. Sunraybee

Surya (aka Sunraybee) is a professional guitarist/ Youtuber and has lots of experience entertaining audiences. He has a quirky editing style where you are bound to miss something if you so much as blink! He uploads regularly and rounds up the internet’s trends of the week sometimes, and his livestreams on YouTube and Instagram are a lot of fun as well.

4. KirtiChow

Very few people actually know who the creator behind Kirti Chow, the animated character, is, but that has long become redundant since his animation and illustration style, paired with gripping storytelling and interesting takes on hot topics makes the YouTube channel a must binge! Also he will be doing a face reveal at 500K subs, so go subscribe to him here!

5. Studio Durga

Welcome to the YouTube channel of India’s first-ever independent anime studio! This channel gained popularity quickly after seeing that Japanese anime was quickly gaining a lot of Indian attention, and banked successfully on that market. They have revealed sneak peeks of their under-development anime series ‘Karmachakra’, including the pilot episode and it looks very promising. 6. Sriman Kotaru

Sriman Kotaru is a moto vlogger from Hyderabad who has been on the platform since a very long time now,  he posts quality content and has taken us to places through his camera and bike,  he’s known for making detailed reviews of the products he uses and tells the audience if buying a specific product is worth it or not. New and old creators alike are experimenting with their content constantly because of the ever-increasing competition, else they risk upsetting the Great Indian YouTube Algorithm!
