Having a guy best friend involves a little or no maintenance at all, unlike those extra sensitive girl best friends. The fights are mostly about one of you eating all the food or going out without each other. Never involves bitching, shouting or crying. Even if the fights are about something big, it eventually ends because this whole relationship is based on flexibility. So, they end over a bar of chocolate or a nice movie together, a sincere apology or even a sweet text saying how much you love each other.

3. Once you become friends, you’re friends for good!

BFF stands for BEST FRIEND FOREVER! He’s there for the long run. You may have breakups, fights with not-so-permanent friends, he’ll be there for you. You will never have to go through all of it alone.

Going with this guy best friend is different than going out with any other guy because of its never a date! With him, you really can focus on the movie and enjoy it, stuff your mouth with as much popcorn you like, make slurping noises while drinking cola from a straw, cry when the movie gets emotional or even laugh out loud when it’s funny.
