SUITS Season 9 THE FINAL SEASON!
It is a fact that summer is almost over and before you realize you will be back to your boring duty calls. Before you make that cranky face, there is one last surprise left for you in the store, before the summer ends. Haven’t you heard? SUITS Season 9 is all set to brace your television screens on 17th July and for Indian fans out there, it is to premier on 18th July at noon, right after the international premier.
Yeah, yeah I know! With GOT’s not so justified ending, India loosing the chance of winning World Cup, I know this year’s first half has been terrible, entertainment vise but let me assure you that Suits final season is supposed to have a happy and satisfying ending. Also the makers of Suits are trying to lessen the pain of letting go of your favorite series by telecasting it’s spin off PEARSON (right after the SUITS premier) starring our very own Jessica Pearson in it! Who know, you might get lucky and see Suits stars making appearances in it.
So let me just spell out everything that you are going to see this final season, at least the things that the makers have assured us that we will witness.

Let me refresh your memory. Suits Season 8 ended with Zane taking the fall for Harvey and getting disbarred in his place. But what made the viewers clutch their racing hearts was viewers fantasy coming true i.e. Darvey’s smoking hot scene. Harvey rushing to Donna’s house, she opening the door and knowing it already like always and then they making out. What can be anymore perfect than that. It took Suits creator Aaron Korsh 8 seasons to give viewers what they have been wanting since the beginning. I mean he did present us with snippets of Darvey romance but when it comes to Darvey, we have a huge appetite, remember?
You know how both Harvey and us missed Mike after he left the firm? Korsh had something to help us with that too. In season 9, we will see Mike (P.J. Adams) making an entry to solve one last case for his beloved firm. And we finally get to see the perfect duo Harvey and Mike work on a case together, just like old times. Isn’t it cool? For those of you wondering if Rachel (Meghan Markle) will join the cast, well the answer to it is NO! You see it is not possible for the Duchess of Sussex to compromise her royal duties, right? Also, she did leave the showbiz for good! But, the final season will address Meghan’s absence.
Suits final season unlike all the other previous seasons won’t have 16 episodes. It will have only 10 episodes. Sad but true! But Korsh ensures that it will have a satisfying ending telling that he has been planning the end since season 5 itself. No doubt, enough thought would have been given to it. You never know, you may get to see Darvey’s wedding (totally my thoughts!).
Also, the makers made sure that the firm’s tradition of frequently changing names is followed this season too. I wonder, How many times is this firm going to have to buy new stationary and send out a press release about the firm name changes in the final season? From what is heard, firm’s name will change for one last time and for good!
Many things got cleared once the official trailer got released but there are certain questions that have room for speculations and fan theories. Like, who is this woman claiming to be the firm’s new owner in the trailer or maybe what problems the firm will face after Zane’s exit, what is Darvey’s future? etc etc. Well, not everything can be answered before the actual premier, hence we can only sit tight and wait for the story to unfold on our screens.
One thing that I can be extremely sure of is, after watching the first episode of this final season, you fans will be having the same reaction as Donna and Harvey in the trailer…
