This iconic dialogue by Amitabh Bachchan will remain relevant for all the times to come. Because let’s face it, no one can conquer the world without their mother on their side!

Remember when you couldn’t stop sobbing when “tujhe sab hai pata hai na maa” played on your screens? And how Radha of Mother India stood against her own son for his wrongdoings? That is the power of a mother. She can love you immensely and still be righteous.

This mother’s day, you might be apart from your maa, amma, ammi, mum or mother but that should not stop you from missing her. And if you are quarantining with her, then nothing beats that!

We have compiled a list of shows and movies that you can totally binge watch this mother’s day. With or without her, it is sure to tear you up just a little!

2017 was the year of cinematic mothers played by different actresses. One such super mother was played by Meher Vij (most underrated actress in bollywood). The way her character stood up against her abusive husband and paved the way for her daughter’s dreams is commendable. Aamir Khan as usual was at his best.

English Vinglish (2012)

Another must watch Sridevi movie which dealt with an unspoken curse faced by majority of Indian mothers. The inability to speak English. The narrative beautifully unfolds the journey of Shashi and her journey to discover her true self. Learning English led her to achieve self respect in her own eyes!

The movie portrayed the struggle of a couple who are left devastated after knowing that their daughter only has a couple of years to live. And to enact the role of a mother in these circumstances needed a stellar actress like Priyanka. The movie will leave you questioning about life as you know it.

Brie Larson (the badass captain marvel) also played the role of a mother who had spent 7 years in captivity. The movie reflects upon the relationship between her and her son trapped together in a small room. It then moves to her struggles to adjust to a new life outside. This movie got her the Oscar for Best Actress in a leading role for 2016. Need I say more?!

P.S. – Brie Larson was basically quarantined for 7 years. If she can do that, so can you.

Since the show ran for 11 seasons, you can see the cast growing with each passing year. It is a fun loving and a delightful show to watch with your mother.
