Alicia Souza: Planner and Calendars, Stationery, & Accessories

The Planner and Calender by Alicia Souza are always one of the most anticipated every year, and 2021 was no different. This is her Ultimate Happiness and Celebration Package. Alicia Souza is an Illustrator and her selling point is her reliability, unassuming personal brand, and adorable designs.

Alicia Souza Ultimate Trio – 2021 Planner & Calendars

This is our 4th year of using her planner. We got the Trio for Rs. 3297 sometime around November end and we got goodies worth Rs.2500 with it.

As in the box, we have got a beautiful Tote Bag, a sticker book which is called ‘The Big Book of Stickers’, a hardcover notebook, two dog tags, a keychain, a pin, two translucent bookmarks, the table calendar, a wall calendar, the planner and a thank you note from Alicia Souza.

Let’s Start with the Freebies. We have got 2 Bookmarks. The First One says “Shaking and Grooving” and the Other One says “Growing and Blooming”. We have got a Light Blue Pin which has a Cute Little Pup with a Heart on it and it says “No Other Like You”. We also got a Dog Tag that says “Scratch my Tummy”. Another One saying “World’s Happiest Dog”. We also have a keychain that says “Everything’s gonna be alright” and the year we all have had, this one was much needed. 

The Sticker book is One of her Most Loved Merchandise. It has 12 Pages Filled with Stickers out of which the last 3 are Colour-In Stickers. There are approximately 420 Stickers in Total. Though we have to mention an Issue with the Sticker Book. Two of its Pages had manufacturing defects as the Stickers and the Moulds were out of Orientation.

We also got a 150 Page Notebook with a Hard Cover. It looked beautiful and had an Elastic Band, a bookmark, a pen loop, and a back pocket. We also got a Free Tote Bag that says “You are Amazing”.

Finally, the Trio.

First comes the wall calendar that has been named the “Celebration and Happy Day Calendar”. The Concept behind this Calender is celebrating Happy Days.  Each month has a main illustration of the main holiday of the month with some other Glitter infused illustrations. Like for January, we have Pongal; for February we have Valentines and for March we have Holi and so on. It has a monthly grid view of every month and the paper is thick to prevent the bleed of ink through. The stickers on the last page of the calendar are the icing on the cake. 

The Desk calendar says “Happy Notes and Tiny Zen Quotes Calendar 2021”. As Alicia endorsed this calendar, it screams cheer and positivity. Since last year, a flip through note section is added which makes the calendar considerably bigger in comparison to the previous year’s calendar. And it also comes with lots of Stickers. 

Alicia Souza Planner comes in a Box. These are sturdy printed boxes that can be used to keep all your knick-knacks. This year the box has a sheen added to it. The Planner itself is very beautiful. It is navy blue and has a golden strap and a golden pen loop. Inside, it starts with a page for your details, a Calender for 2021 and 2022, and a page to pen down your ideas. There are 11 pages of stickers which is lovely.

You have everything you need here and more. There is also a page present to write something for your future self and it says “We have a letter for you, from you.”  There are Monthly tabs present which is very useful. Each monthly divider has its really cute illustrations. Each month gets its habit tracker, meal planner, monthly goals, and to-do page which has a lot of space to plan effectively.

The habit tracker is very helpful, and it also has a period tracker which is so amazing. If we have to lay it out, it has monthly budget planning goals for the year with a goal tracker, 12 Month view with notes section, daily planning, 12-month divider with tabs, monthly birthdays and goals, habit tracker, period tracker, monthly meals plans, grocery shopping list and the Highlight of the year.

The one thing we love against all of the things is the list of  Movies we loved and the books we read. You also get extra pages at the end for notes and a folder to store your loose paper, cards, etcetera. The Planner also has a beautiful bookmark at the end that says “Relax and Enjoy”. 

The 2021 Ultimate Planner & Pocket Planner + FREE Big Book of Stickers

Now the Pocket Planner is something we all might overutilize. It has a really cute cover this year with glitter on it. We have the monthly grid and after every 3 months, there is an illustration. The only downside is that the paper quality is not so great. You can easily expect an impression on the next page.

Our Review, It is more of a creative planner than a functional daily planner. The quality speaks for its price but we need a page or at least half of it every day to list it out. This should help plan more efficiently. But Full Marks for Aesthetics and trying to be as inclusive as possible. The Calendar is lovely and there is not much we would like to change. In the end, we rate Alicia Souza’s Trio as a 7/10 and it is recommended if you love quirky things, not so much if you looking out to plan things out and make notes to plan daily chores.
