1. You can lie to your partner when you’re planning a surprise party or present for him/her.

We all like to make our partner’s day special whether it is their Birthday or just a propose anniversary. To make that day special, surprises are what we end up with. That is when you can lie to them that instead of the baker you’re talking to your friend, and instead of their best friend, you’re talking to your teacher. Because we all love surprises!

2. You can lie to your partner when they’re out of town, and you don’t want to bother them with your needs.

Whenever you want something but that’s always bought by your partner, walk yourself and buy it, because you don’t want to bother your partner when they’re working or just enjoying out there on a vacation. You gotta respect your partner’s personal time.

3.You can lie to your partner when you don’t like the gift they gave you, to respect their efforts.

They gave you a gift full of their love and effort but it could be any reason that you don’t like it, however, you also don’t want to pesticide their effort, say that you love it. At some point, you’ll have to tell them that you don’t like it but you can keep up their mood at that particular moment.

4. You can lie to your partner when you feel jealous of some of their pretty close friends.

Everyone might be thinking about the title of situation 4. That you shouldn’t lie and tell them so that you can have a great communication quality. But, sometimes they might feel bad about what they’ve done for you and saying that you always end up being jealous. They might also think about the friendship of his/her friends, and that could lead to the end of your relationship.

So don’t do that mistake and just think about how much love they already give you and you shall then control your jealousy.

5. You can lie to your partner when your child is doing something which is correct but it’s not liked by your partner.

In some marriages, both the parents have different views about certain things like your child having a relationship or a sleepover with friends. One parent might be okay with that but the other may be objectionable, you can allow your child to do such things but you can lie to your partner about it. And make them understand about it by the time.

6. You can lie to your partner when you’re late for your date/meet, and you’re not ready.

 We all face such problems when you’ve to meet your partner at CCD or McDonald’s, but you’re not ready. At that time, you can lie about the fake excessive traffic or any excuse. If you tell them the truth, then we all know how they’ll react!

7. You can lie to your partner about the timings of a party so that they be punctual.

 Similar to the situation 6, when you know that your partner is not punctual enough, tell them timings which are early from the party or prom, so that they come on time. Though they might find it out later that day.

8. You can lie to your partner about a ‘Sorry Present’.

 When your partner is mad at you, you can send them numerous gifts to make them happy by hiding your identity, so that the mystery leads them to you!

That is one good trick to say sorry.

9. You can lie to your partner when you argued with your parents or a friend, but telling your partner may lead to an exaggeration of the fight

 Sometimes we all have arguments with our parents, which may spoil your date with your partner, spoil the mood of them. It could also lead to miscommunications, like bragging about what your friend said. So don’t think about it and enjoy the human being you are with.

10. You can lie to your partner when you accidentally burnt or stained their favourite shirt/ broke their lipstick.

 You can lie to your partner about such situations because you don’t want to get punishments for that. Though, they’ll come to know that later but you can save yourself at the time of their anger. And you can buy time to replace the ruined item.

These are some situations wherein the first you’ll end up telling an untruth.

Lastly, we don’t encourage lying to your partner because you can lose your partner’s trust. All lies should be temporary and should be revealed as soon as possible or at the correct timing.
